At First Baptist Church, there are many ways to connect with others and grow in your faith. Throughout the week, we gather for Bible study, fellowship, and worship as we encourage one another and grow in our relationship with Christ.

Sunday Mornings

Sunday Breakfast at 9:30 AM

Each Sunday morning begins with a time of fellowship over breakfast. Everyone is welcome to join us as we gather, visit with one another, and start the day together.

Sunday School at 9:45 AM

Sunday School is one of the best ways to get connected at First Baptist Church. These Bible study groups meet before the worship service and provide an opportunity to study God’s Word, ask questions, and build friendships.

Classes are available for children and adults.

Nursery

Childcare at church in Eminence, MO

Our nursery provides a loving, safe, and caring environment for infants and toddlers during Sunday School and worship. Parents can attend classes and services knowing their little ones are well cared for.

Our nursery workers help care for children through play, interaction, and simple activities while parents participate in the life of the church.

Wednesday Evenings

Wednesday evening church and kids classes at First Baptist in Eminence, MO

Wednesday evenings, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, at First Baptist Church are a special time for children and students to grow in their faith, build friendships, and learn more about God’s Word.

TeamKIDS

TeamKIDS is a fun and engaging program where children learn biblical truths through Bible study, activities, and games. Kids are encouraged to grow in their understanding of God’s Word while building friendships with others their age. For ages Pre-K to 6th Grade

Warriors for Christ

Warriors for Christ is our student ministry for youth in grades 7 through 12. Students gather to study Scripture, encourage one another in their faith, and talk about how God’s Word applies to their everyday lives. For teens in grades 7th to 12th.

Men’s Meeting

Our men gather regularly for fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual growth. These meetings provide an opportunity to study God’s Word together, support one another, and grow as leaders in their homes, church, and community. Times varies; please check Events & Calendar page.

Ladies Prayer Group

Our women gather regularly for a time of prayer, encouragement, and fellowship. This group provides an opportunity for women to come together, pray for one another, and support one another in their walk with the Lord. Times varies; please check Events & Calendar page.

Sign Language Ministry

Since 2008, The Hilltop Gang has been sharing biblically inspired sign language programs that glorify God.

 Founded by two Deaf men with a vision for ministry, this group has grown to include 43 members over the years, bringing their unique programs to churches in Winona and Eminence, Missouri. Led by Jimmie Huffman, the team includes Tommy Roberts, Andy Buford, Brian Duarte, Christian Kaveny, Lova, Malayla, and Zayne.

The Hilltop Gang reminds us that ministry comes in many forms, all with the same purpose: to honor God and connect hearts through service.
